Commercial & Industrial
Commercial & industrial rooftop solar
Cut daytime electricity costs with rooftop solar for shops, offices, hospitals, schools and factories across Chhattisgarh and Odisha. We take each project from load study and design to DISCOM approvals, installation and after-sales support.
Why rooftop solar works for businesses
- Daytime use matches solar generation: most commercial and industrial loads run while the sun is up, so a large share of the solar power is used on site.
- Lower electricity bills: every unit generated on your roof is a unit you don't buy from the grid.
- Unused roof space: large flat roofs and sheds become a productive asset.
- Predictable costs: after installation, the main running cost is cleaning and maintenance.
Who we work with
- Shops, showrooms and offices
- Hospitals, clinics, schools and colleges
- Hotels, cold storages and warehouses
- Factories, rice mills and other industrial units
How we deliver a commercial project
- Load study: we review your electricity bills, sanctioned load and when you use power during the day.
- Site and structure check: roof type (concrete or metal sheet), strength, shading and space.
- Design and proposal: system size, layout, panel and inverter options, and expected generation.
- Approvals: net-metering and connection approvals with your DISCOM (CSPDCL in Chhattisgarh; TPCODL, TPWODL, TPSODL or TPNODL in Odisha).
- Installation: mounting structure, panels, inverters, cabling, earthing and lightning protection.
- Commissioning and monitoring: DISCOM inspection, meter installation and online monitoring setup.
- After-sales support: cleaning guidance, periodic checks and service.
Larger projects are delivered as complete Solar EPC contracts.
Equipment
We work with panel brands including Waaree, Adani, Tata, ReNew and Emmvee, and inverter brands including Waaree, Havells, Polycab and Deye. See solar panels and solar inverters for how we choose between them.

Frequently asked questions
Do businesses get the PM Surya Ghar subsidy?
No. PM Surya Ghar is only for residential households. For businesses, rooftop solar pays back through lower electricity bills, and solar assets may also qualify for accelerated depreciation under income-tax rules. Check that with your tax adviser.
Which businesses benefit most from rooftop solar?
Those that use most of their electricity during daylight hours, such as offices, shops, hospitals, schools, cold storages, rice mills and factories running day shifts. The closer your load matches the solar generation curve, the more of the solar power you use directly.
Can solar be installed on a metal-sheet (tin shed) roof?
Yes. Industrial sheds usually take rail-based or clamp-based mounting fixed to the purlins or roof sheets, which is lighter than the elevated structures used on concrete roofs. We check the roof's condition and strength before designing the system.
How do I track how much the system generates?
Most modern inverters come with an online monitoring app that shows daily generation and alerts. We set this up at commissioning so you can track performance and spot problems early.
