PM Surya Ghar subsidy in Odisha

Odisha's four DISCOMs
Electricity in Odisha is distributed by four companies. Your bill shows which one supplies you. Solflip Solutions is empanelled with all of them:

- TPWODL (TP Western Odisha Distribution Limited): western Odisha, including Sambalpur, Rourkela, Bolangir, Bargarh and Nuapada
- TPSODL (TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited): southern Odisha, including Berhampur, Ganjam and Koraput
- TPNODL (TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited): northern Odisha, including Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar
Who is eligible
- A residential household in Odisha with a domestic connection from TPCODL, TPWODL, TPSODL or TPNODL in the applicant's name
- A roof with enough shade-free space (roughly 10 square metres, about 100 sq ft, per kW)
- No subsidy already received for rooftop solar on the same connection

Because both subsidies stop at 3 kW, a 3 kW system collects the full ₹1,38,000 for most homes. Size larger only if your consumption needs it.
Step-by-step process in Odisha
- Register on the PM Surya Ghar national portal: choose Odisha and your DISCOM, then enter the consumer number from your bill and your mobile number.
- Apply for rooftop solar and choose an empanelled vendor. Solflip Solutions is empanelled with all four Odisha DISCOMs.
- Your DISCOM checks the technical feasibility of your application.

- The installation details are submitted on the portal, and your DISCOM inspects the system and installs a net meter.
